Dolphin watching/snorkeling and swimming with turtles |Meet up in Zanzibar | BaldGirlWillTravel
Another really cool thing the ladies and I did during our meet up in Zanzibar Tanzania was to go dolphin watching and snorkeling in the Indian Ocean. Some of the ladies opted out because of how early we had to get up.
It’s imperative to be on the ocean between 8 and 9:30 AM to get an ideal experience. That meant leaving early at about 7:30 AM to get out to the coast of Mnemba Island by boat. A small group of us decided to get up early and do it together. This is something I did during my first visit to the island, but it was delightful watching the ladies who have never seen dolphins in the wild before enjoy the experience. The squeals of delight when they first saw the dolphins is something I’ll never forget.❤️🙂🐬
Later that day, all of us got together and went to the Baraka Aquarium, so that the ladies could swim with the turtles. Again, I had this experience the first time I visited the island and it was really fun to see them do the same thing I did and enjoy it just as much as I did.
