In 2020, Tyler and Lindsey Dobson started upcycling street furniture to furnish their home in St. Petersburg, Florida. That hobby grew into flipping entire houses, earning them hundreds of thousands of dollars. Today, thanks to a smart tax strategy, they’re mortgage-free and renovating a 1934 craftsman-style home in Springfield, Missouri.
Unlocked is a new home tour series focused on how much people across the U.S. spend on their housing, what they get for the money and what they had to sacrifice to make it happen.
