The celebration continued at the official stadium ceremony, where the Prime Minister welcomed royalty on behalf of King Charles and his younger brother, who attended in person to honor this milestone. The event featured powerful performances, traditional storytelling, and a breathtaking showcase of PNG’s heritage.
And to top it all off, the following day the celebrations reached a high point with performances from PNG’s own artists, ending with international superstar Akon lighting up the stage in Port Moresby.
