Bolludagur or Icelandic Cream Puff day is an indulgent holiday where people all around the country eat a variety of these baked goods. This year I am taste testing 15 vegan Icelandic cream puffs from 7 bakeries in the South of Iceland. This was such a fun and fascinating challenge. Just note that Bolludagur is always the Monday before the start of Lent, so if you want to try them I advise being in Iceland the weekend before Lent.
