Sushi- π£
if youβre an American style sushi lover then itβs only right to taste how the Japanese get down. At first glance, youβll notice that in America, sushi is often made with cooked ingredients that are rolled up in rice and seaweed. In Japan, sushi is typically made with raw fish and vegetables that are served on top of a bed of rice.
Ramen - π
weβre not lying when we say we had the best ramen of our LIVES in Japan. ( in fujinomiya to be exact.) The flavors were out of this world. After you have the real deal, bring a cup noodle back home. They have unique flavors there that arenβt sold in the states.
Takoyaki - π
if you havenβt noticed Japan is big on seafood and this street snack is worth trying. Essentially itβs gooey balls fried with grilled octopus, onions, pickled red ginger, + tempura scraps on the inside
Unagi Don -
grilled eel glazed with this yummy sweet teriyaki like sauce served over rice.
