Iceland’s Beer Spa – A Unique Experience in North Iceland
The Icelandic Beer Spa (Bjórböðin) is a relaxing and fun experience in a small town in north Iceland. Kaldi, Iceland’s first microbrewery, runs the spa and restaurant so you know that there is delicious beer on tap for you to try wherever you are in the place.
Until visiting here, I had no idea that bathing in brewer’s yeast, or young beer, was so good for your skin and hair because it’s rich in b-vitamins.
One of my favorite parts of this place is the outdoor hot tubs because the view is spectacular! As described in the video, there is more to this place than just bathing in young beer, including two different saunas, a restaurant, and a calming room.
I feel like this is such a fun treat for couples, friends, or solo travelers. Basically, if you are of drinking age and like a relaxing, yet fun time this place is for you.
