Iceland’s Most Infamous Criminal Investigation – Interview with Tryggvi Rúnar Brynjarsson
Tryggvi Rúnar jr is named after his grandfather, who is one of the wrongly accused and convicted individuals in Iceland’s most infamous criminal investigation. During this interview, you will learn about how the disappearance of two Icelandic men led to six people being wrongly accused and convicted of kidnapping, murder, and other crimes back in the 1970s.
While a lot has happened since that time, you will also learn about one injustice involving this case that still lingers in the present day.
"Out of Thin Air" is the name of the documentary about this case on Netflix.
