Holy Week in Colombia Medellin
I observe Samana Santa, Holy Week in Colombia. The cultural differences and the traditions are surprisingly shocking nonetheless interesting to learn about. In this video, I am shocked to see what seems to be a klansman carrying a statue of Christ aka La Pasión de Cristo on Good Friday later to find out this is not the case.
The Roman Catholic church has been using this costume for many centuries way before the Ku Klux Klan where formed. The covering of the face and color signifies the morning of Christ.
