A Solo Travel Guide to Querétaro, Mexico | Solo Travel Tips for 40+ Women
Enjoy this Vlog of my visit to Queretaro Mexico in May and June 2022
Santiago de Queretaro (“Queretaro) is the capital of the State of Queretaro which sits right next door to Guanajuato where San Miguel de Allende is located.
Queretaro is a first-class city that many folks overlook in favor of San Miguel de Allende which I think is a BIG mistake. Queretaro has first shopping, museums, nightlife, and GREAT restaurants. It is home to several first-class wineries and Pena de Bernal, the 4th largest monolith in the world is about a 50 minute drive from Queretaro. Tequisquiapan, a designated Magic Town (Pueblo Magico) is also a 45-minute drive away. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to Queretaro. I highly recommend that you put it in your solo travel planner.
