Limpopo, as a Province in South Africa, is home to a population of well over 5 million, the majority of whom are spread over the length and breadth of the country mostly Gauteng Province in search of economic prospects.
The population largely comprises Sepedi, Tsonga and Venda speaking ethnic groups. Limpopo directly shares borders with three countries ie. Botswana to the west, Zimbabwe to the north, and Mozambique to the east, and also three South African provinces borders ie. Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and North West to the south.
This Province is one of the mostly rural provinces with limited economic activity; hence it is during this time of the year when economic activity in the more active regions peter out, wherein the masses migrate back to such cities and towns as witnessed in this video.
