✅ How to Turn Off Location on Instagram
Option 1: In the Instagram App
1. Open Instagram and go to your DMs.
2. Tap the Map icon at the top.
3. Tap your profile icon or the settings gear.
4. Find Location Sharing and switch it off.
You can also choose to stop sharing with specific people.
Option 2: In Your Phone Settings
iPhone:
1. Go to Settings - Privacy & Security - Location Services.
2. Tap Instagram.
3. Set to “Never” and turn off Precise Location.
Android:
1. Go to Settings - Apps - Instagram - Permissions.
2. Tap Location.
3. Select “Don’t allow” and disable Precise Location if shown.
