What did it cost? Zanzibar Tanzania
Here is what 9 nights/10 days in Zanzibar Tanzania cost me.
Please note that I didn’t fly round trip because Zanzibar was the third and my second to last stop in a five weeklong trip on the continent of Africa. I flew from Nairobi Kenya to the capital of Dar es Salaam and then from there to Zanzibar. Flights between Kenya and Tanzania are relatively inexpensive as the two countries are side-by-side. You can fly directly into Zanzibar though it is a small airport.
I spent 10 days total in Zanzibar. I wanted the full experience, and I really enjoyed every part of my stay from feeding the giant turtles on Prison Island to seeing dolphins swimming off the coast of Mnemba Island in their natural habitat, to swimming with, and petting the turtles at Baraka aquarium and walking the pristine white sand beaches of Nungwi - I truly had the time of my life. Considering how long I stayed and everything I did, for me, the total total cost was worth it.

Zanzibar is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been or seen, which is why it is going to be the location of my first group meet up.
