One of the best travel hacks I’ve learned recently came from Dr. Kaycee Brock on my podcast.
If you’re planning an international trip, here’s something most people don’t realize:
Flights leaving from New York (JFK) are usually WAY cheaper.
So instead of booking:
Atlanta → Madrid
She recommends booking it like this:
Atlanta → JFK
JFK → Madrid
Two separate tickets.
It might add a layover, but you can sometimes save hundreds — even thousands — on international flights.
Small tip, big difference.
Dr. Kaycee Brock is a travel advisor who specializes in culturally immersive travel experiences, especially for people who want their trips to actually connect them to culture and history.
She planned my 40th birthday trip to South Africa, and that conversation about travel, career pivots, and building a purpose-driven business is now live on the podcast.
