5. Loss of Financial Autonomy: In a cashless society, all money is essentially controlled by financial institutions or governments. This centralization gives them more power to freeze accounts, impose fees, or even control how people spend their money.

Negative Interest Rates and Control of Economic Policy: In a fully cashless society, it would be easier for central banks to impose negative interest rates, which means people would pay to keep money in their accounts. Governments could also more easily control consumption and spending through economic policy adjustments.
7. Surveillance and Control: Governments or authorities could theoretically control or limit individuals' financial activities. This creates the potential for overreach, where people’s spending behavior is controlled or censored for political or ideological reasons.
