Things to Know Before You Visit Isla Holbox, Mexico | Solo Travel Tips
#holbox #islaholbox #mexico #solotravel #travel
As you know I visited Isla Holbox this past summer. While I was terrorized by mosquitos, I want to give this beautiful getaway its props because it truly is beautiful.
But as I wrote my blog post about my visit there I could not help but think “I need to go back there.” Mosquitos notwithstanding.
While I will NEVER visit again during the rainy summer season, I will try to return between October and April when the temperatures are milder and mosquitoes are not in abundance.
The white sands, the crystal blue water, the magnificent sunsets and the really great food (Lobster Pizza anyone?) make Isla Holbox a place I highly recommend you visit. I felt safe walking at night and the people are wonderfully welcoming and friendly.
Put it on your list for solo travel in 2023.
