Somali’s Pulled Up On Me AGAIN….and THIS HAPPENED!

In this video, I share a personal story about my recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya, where things took an unexpected turn after I lost my passport. After visiting several malls and exchange bureaus, I found myself in a stressful situation, fearing I’d be stuck without my work permit or a way home.

Despite having posted videos in the past discussing issues involving the Somali community, I was blown away by the kindness and honesty I experienced from them during this crisis. A Somali-owned Forex bureau actually found my passport and reached out to return it, saving my entire trip.

I take this time to reflect on my journey with pan-Africanism and the importance of not judging an entire group by a few "bad apples." From getting help at the bureau to receiving love from Somali viewers at local shops and ice cream spots, this experience reminded me that there are good, hospitable people everywhere willing to show respect and support. I’m still growing and learning, and I wanted to publicly show my respect to those who helped me out when I was at my lowest.
