Sneak Peek: My Custom Día de los Muertos Hat | San Miguel de Allende 2025
There’s a very special story behind this hat. 💕
I planned to wear a completely different headpiece for Día de los Muertos this year… but then I walked into a shop and saw this hat — and the pink flowers reminded me of my late dear friend, Dominique.
She and I celebrated Día de los Muertos together here in San Miguel de Allende in 2022. When she went home, she left her headpiece with me. After her passing, it became one of my most treasured keepsakes.
So this year, I decided to carry her with me — I took the flowers from her headpiece and added them to this hat.
Now, as I join the Catrinas Parade and celebrate this week of culture, remembrance, and love, she’ll be right there with me. 💀💐
