Sand painting on Gorée island #shorts #traveltips #senegal
One of the things I mentioned in my Live last evening at Thursday teatime🫖🫖 was thevery cool sand painting I was gifted by an artist on Gorée island
Gorée island is not just a place of remembrance. It is home to about 1800 people who live and work on the island and from the island. One of the cool things I got to see when I visited, the island was sand painting by local artist.
I was so impressed by his work that I gave him a small donation, and he insisted that I take a small painting home with me. It was fascinating to watch and create beautiful pieces of art with adhesive and I’m varied colors of sand.
We are very talented people.
