By elevating white-led governance and undermining Black leadership, Ramaphosa is basically repeating what the founders of apartheid preached: that Black people are incapable of governing themselves without white oversight. This is nothing but neo-colonial rhetoric dressed up as “honesty.”
We reject this narrative. South Africa’s problems are not about Black incapability — they are about corruption, inequality, and a system still rigged in favor of white capital. Ramaphosa’s statements don’t just insult his party, they insult the millions who fought for freedom.
