Thinking about last minute, summer travel? Here are for tips!
1. Let the deal determine your destination but act fast!
The more open you are to destination the less you will pay. But when you see a deal, jump on it! I recommend following and using @Going to find and track great deals. You can grab my affiliate link in my bio!
2. For Europe try to get the cheapest possible ticket across the Atlantic.
If you haven’t booked Europe yet, you are going to pay 💰! A great budget hack is to grab the cheapest ticket you can find to mainland Europe, and then travel from there to your final destination by train or a budget ✈️carrier like Ryanair.
3. Consider the Caribbean & Latin America instead of Europe
There are great deals to be found to the Caribbean and Latin America so if you keep your options open you can find some inexpensive deals.
4. Travel post mid August.
In the USA many children return to school mid August, and so flight and hotel prices start to go down. So if you can’t wait for shoulder season, which starts after Labor Day, look at flights from the middle of August onwards.
I don’t recommend last minute travel because generally it cost more but if you must I hope these tips are helpful.
