KIGALI City Tour : What KIGALI, RWANDA looked like in 2023
Rwanda is a country of a thousand hills with amazing views and Kigali is also known as the cleanest city in Africa. Our tour starts in Kimihurura, Kimihurura is mainly residential but very central and popular with foreigners living in Kigali and its home to many of the city’s most popular bars, cafes and restaurants. Its wide streets and lack of traffic makes it great walking around day or night.
Kigali Convention Center is a well known commercial building in Kigali. KBC is a business complex that existed since 2003 and this building underwent a major facelift since 2016, the complex has four blocks ranging from three to eight levels and it houses different companies and businesses including supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and restaurants.
Nyarugenge is a district that contains most of the city's businesses. And this is Nyarugenge Pension Plaza and it’s owned by Rwanda Social Security Board and the construction was completed in September 2011 and it houses four ministries which are the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry in charge of Emergency Management, the Ministry of ICT and Innovation and Ministry of Youth.
