Black Travel Summit came to Rio and Rio showed out.
I hopped on a plane to Rio de Janeiro for my first Black Travel Summit. I got to meet so many amazing Black travel pros, hoteliers, creators, and storytellers from all over the world, plus brands and destinations that actually want to welcome Black and Brown travelers.
The speakers and sessions were next levelβtalking storytelling, staying authentic in travel, and how to get into the rooms where real change happens for Black travelers. Fun fact: Black travel is a $145 billion market, and we deserve to find places that cater to our dollar.
