This trip was the first time I've ever visited Atlanta, Georgia. I've been to a few Hyatt Place's in my day, and I've come to find I enjoy the room layout a lot. Hyatt Place has a typical layout with the bedroom area and living room area separated by what I'd call a partial divider. The room is larger than your "standard" room, especially in relation to that divider, which in my opinion gives the allusion of a larger room.
Hyatt Place in Buckhead has a decent location if you would like to explore a number of restaurants and shopping areas. The location was close in proximity to family so this was a perfect location. The room was clean, the bathroom was a little on the smaller side. The sink is not located inside the bathroom with the toilet and shower. Instead, it's just about right in front of the bed. If you are in need of a midnight bathroom visit washing your hands may cause more noise than you'd like if you have people in your room who may be trying to sleep. I was happy with the oversized fridge that held A TON of food and drinks. There was no microwave in the room and we did not request for one. If needed I would try to request for a microwave if you need one during your stay. Throughout the room there were 4 mirrors that I thoroughly enjoyed. You can never have too many mirrors! The complimentary breakfast didn't have much in my opinion. No hot breakfast items. Only things like bread, muffins, bananas, apples, fruit cup, and an avocado kit. I tried the avocado kit and I did not like it at all. The woman who toasted my bread might as well have given me a slice of bread because she did not toast it at all. The avocado spread was a packaged spread you could get from the store and I did not like the taste of it. Unfortunately it was a very lackluster breakfast. I can't wait until hot breakfast returns because the breakfasts I've experienced that are grab-and-go have not impressed me.
Overall, I would recommend Hyatt Place Buckhead. If yo
