My Laos Journey on a Sleeper Bus | Real Reactions, Raw Experiences & Lessons So Far
In this video, I take you on my unexpected journey from Vietnam to Laos in a sleeper bus β a ride that was not only physically long but emotionally deep. From the stares and reactions I received as a Black traveler on that bus, to the surprising kindness of strangers and the misunderstandings that still exist, this trip gave me so much to reflect on.
Laos is one of the most underrated and misunderstood countries in Southeast Asia. The town Iβm staying in is peaceful, raw, and filled with beauty that many travelers overlook. But being here also brought up some real moments β from cultural curiosity to uncomfortable stares β and I talk about them all openly in this video.
