First time staying at a Shangri-La: Sydney, Australia Edition
My Chase Sapphire Reserve card was having a promotion where if you spent a minimum of $400, you’d get a $100 credit back from your stay. I knew I had some international travel to Australia coming up and opted to utilize the promotion since I knew I needed to book somewhere. Shangri-La Sydney ended up costing me $692.75 for 3 nights for a luxury property. Now subtract $100 from that. That’s a 15% discount. On top of those savings I made sure to book through The Edit collection. That allows for me early check-in, late check out, welcome amenity, daily complimentary breakfast for 2, and $140 AUS credit. I was incredibly happy with my stay and I think I lucked out on one of the most unbeatable views in the city of the Sydney Opera House.
