Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago River North Room Tour
I stayed in Downtown Chicago for a short overnight visit and chose Fairfield Inn and Suites. The location I booked is located in the River North neighborhood. I haven't been to a Fairfield in an extremely long time. I have no complaints about this particular hotel. It was a standard room type with 2 double beds. I'm happy there was a fridge in the room but there was no microwave. I will say the complimentary breakfast was pretty bare because of COVID restrictions. They only had cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and packaged muffins. No non-dairy milk. The highlight of the hotel was it is next to an array of restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The area is extremely walkable and there's a ton to do. If you're looking for a standard hotel room that's nearby a number of attractions, this is the hotel for you.
