#KENYA #SOMALIA
Now, it is not fair or accurate to say that Somalis as a people or as a community hate Kenya. In truth, most Somalis respect and value Kenya. They see it as a neighbour, a partner, and, for many, a second home. And let’s not forget Kenyan Somalis are a recognized community with indigenous roots in Kenya. And most of them are extremely patriotic to Kenya. They contribute actively to the social, political, and economic life of the country. Many Somali Kenyans serve in government, business, education, and even the Kenya Defence Forces, showing their loyalty and commitment to the nation. Although their patriotism is sometimes questioned due to historical events and stereotypes on the ground, they live, work, and dream as Kenyans first. So no. the claim that Somalis as a people hate Kenya is both misleading and unfair.
