Colombia During COVID Part I | Solo Birthday Trip To Cartagena ๐จ๐ด๐๐พ๐
I recently returned from my solo birthday trip to the beautiful South American country of Colombia! My first stop on this trip was to none other than Cartagena! Cartagena, a gorgeous fishing village on Colombia's Caribbean coast, is a historic old town (that's entirely walkable) and has beautiful colonial architecture. It's also one of the safest places in the country, so it's no wonder it's a popular port of call for cruise ships. With a tropical climate, the city is also a popular beach destination. Reachable by boat are Isla de Barú, with white-sand beaches and palm trees, and the Islas del Rosario, known for their coral reefs. I had so much fun in Cartagena! The weather was great, the people were very friendly and the culture is so rich! The walled city is definitely a must visit when visiting this beautiful country. I tried my absolute hardest to get footage, but I truly wanted to enjoy my time there and not constantly have my phone out. I hope you guys still enjoy what I was able to capture!
