Celebrating the 1 Year Anniversary of the Icelandic Volcanic Eruption + a Giveaway!
The Geldingadalir Eruption on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula started on March 19th, 2021. This video kicks off a series I am calling "Eruption Week" on the All Things Iceland Youtube channel. It's a celebration of the one-year anniversary of the eruption and a way to provide insight into the culture around volcanos in Iceland. Make sure you are here for the premiere of this video because I will be giving an awesome prize at the end to one lucky person.
Throughout the week I will publish two exclusive interviews. One is with the talented photographer Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove, who published a book that details his photographic journey documenting the volcano. The second is with the Director April Anderson, who created the documentary "Fire and Iceland: Art, Culture & Chasing Lava."
To cap off Eruption Week, I will provide an exclusive online watch party of the documentary "Fire and Iceland" documentary for free to my viewers. This will only be available to watch on Sunday, March 20th for free. After I show the documentary while live chatting with everyone, I will delete it from my channel and you will have to pay to watch it.
