On my second day in Hanoi, Vietnam, the receptionist at my hostel recommended I try bánh cuốn and nem rán. The bánh cuốn was beautiful! I ordered an additional plate and went back the next morning! The Nem rán was alright, but I prefer it not fried🎉
Bánh cuốn - a sheet of fermented rice batter filled with a mixture of cooked seasoned ground pork, minced meat + mushroom.
Nem rán - Minced pork wrapped in rice paper and deep-fried.
