Africa’s Journey to becoming a Superpower
When you hear or read the phrase "superpower," the first thing that comes to mind are nations like the United States of America, China, Europe as a continent, and others of similar calibre. What about the continent of Africa? When people hear the term "Africa," they frequently think of vast wide spaces, the world's most magnificent and sadly hunted wildlife, people with rich cultures and lastly, the poverty that people in the region undergo. Vital NGOs work in nations like the Central African Republic, providing basics much-needed like sanitation and water. Other countries like the Ivory Coast are thriving at a pace that only China has seen before, piquing the curiosity of the rest of the globe, including China.
Imagine all 54 countries dissolving all the borders that distinguish them to be one large country. Wouldn't it be great? As they say, unity is strength, and African countries coming together would mean benefits.
